This website has been established to inform the public, prospective operators and other stakeholders about the future Sint Maarten Gambling Authority, its intended mandate, the legal framework for gambling in Sint Maarten, and its planned regulatory activities. The Sint Maarten Gambling Authority will come into existence once the new Kansspelverordening (National Gambling Ordinance) enters into force. This website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. It is not a substitute for consulting the official legislation, or for seeking independent legal counsel.

We take reasonable care to ensure the information on this website is accurate and up to date. However, the Kansspelverordening (National Gambling Ordinance) referred to on this website has not yet entered into force.
